The United States in Afghanistan

Mimi Stephens, Director of Professional Development at Brown University's Choices Program, to explore the Choices curriculum unit, The United States in Afghanistan. The one hour webinar will introduce secondary teachers to the student readings, the lessons, and the videos found in the unit, and will provide suggestions for implementing the curriculum in a variety of courses.

There will be time during the webinar for questions and suggestions for additional resources in Afghanistan. Participants who attend the webinar and complete a short implementation plan will be provided with the unit in either the print format or a two-year Digital Edition license format.
