AUA Summer Service Intern Programs - Indonesia, Zanzibar and Morocco

For undergraduate and graduation students: The application deadline for the America's Unofficial Ambassadors 2013 Summer Service programs is coming up! Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and we are already placing volunteers in each country. The deadline for our Indonesia, Zanzibar and Morocco programs is April 1.

MESA’s Board of Directors has established a modest fund to help subsidize travel expenses for students who are presenting papers at the MESA annual meeting. For the 2013 meeting, MESA will award an as yet undetermined number of $250 grants.

The American Research Institute in Turkey

The American Research Institute in Turkey (ARIT) is a non-profit educational institution dedicated to promoting American and Turkish research and exchange related to Turkey in all fields of the humanities and social sciences. ARIT provides support for these scholarly endeavors through maintaining research centers in Istanbul and Ankara, and by administering a variety of fellowship programs for scholarly research and for language study in Turkey.

Curriculum Development Grants Program

The CERIS Curriculum Development Grants Program is designed to enable faculty members from CERIS institutions to pursue curricular development and enhancement projects related to Islamic Studies. Islamic Studies is understood, as expressed in the CERIS mission statement, to encompass many languages, literatures, and disciplines; and extends from the 7th century to the present, and across broad geographical areas of the world.
